No promised or generally expected result
Costa Fitness does not promise a specific physique, body-composition change, strength increase, health outcome, contest placing, or timeline. Costa Fitness has not established a generally expected physique or body-composition outcome for clients. Individual outcomes depend on factors such as starting point, health, training history, adherence, recovery, nutrition, schedule, and circumstances outside coaching.
A phrase such as “results vary,” “not typical,” or another disclaimer cannot make an unsupported or misleading claim truthful. The overall message, images, headings, context, and omitted facts all matter.
Testimonial and image standard
Before Costa Fitness uses any testimonial, endorsement, progress image, or competition image in marketing, it must be:
- genuine and consistent with the person's honest experience;
- used with documented permission appropriate to the planned public use;
- presented accurately, without edits, cropping, timing, or context that creates a misleading impression;
- supported for any objective claim the marketing asks the audience to take from it;
- free from incentives tied to positive sentiment or a required favorable message; and
- accompanied clearly by material facts and connections that could affect how the audience evaluates it.
A free service, discount, payment, product, contest entry, employee/family relationship, or other benefit can be a material connection and must be disclosed when relevant. Permission alone does not substantiate a result claim.
